Matt and Andy’s Tassie Tastebud Adventure

Tour includes all your food (Breakfast, lunch and Dinner), all wine, gin, cheese, vodka, cider tasting and tours. 

Oyster farm tours and flight over Freycinet Wine Glass bay if doing Tours B.

Starts in Hobart city Thursday 4th March and finishing in Hobart city on Monday 8th March, or stay on and finish in Launceston Friday 12th March 2021

Starting in Hobart at the Luxurious Villa Howden and experiencing Bruny Island, Huon Valley, Willie Smiths Apple Cider, Grandvewe Cheese, Saffron farms and more, then heading up North to Freycinet to experience more oysters, amazing views and walks through the Freycinet area along with a scenic flight over Wine Glass Bay (Included in the cost!)

Part A; Day 1; Thursday 4th

Tour start by us picking you up or meeting you in the Salamanca area of Hobart at 3:30pm in Hobart. Nutpatch chocolates is our first stop in Hobart. Arrive at Villa Howden early evening and dinner at Villa. 

Staying at Villa Howden.

Day 2; Friday 5th

Bruny Island day, oysters, cheese, wine, beer, views, views and more amazing views! 

Staying at Villa Howden.

Day 3; Saturday 6th

Salamanca markets and chilli out day with optional afternoon cooking class. 

Grand 5 course degustation dinner at Villa Howden. 

 Staying at Villa Howden.

Day 4; Sunday 7th 

Grandvewe cheese tasting and farm tour, Saffron farm tour, wine tasting, apple cider tasting, apple farm tour, apple inspired afternoon tea

Dinner at Willie Smiths.

Day 5; Monday 8th

Breakfast at Villa and we drop you off in Hobart city…OR

Part B; Day 5; Monday 8th

Today we head off to Swansea but not before visiting the famed Salamanca markets followed by a long lunch stop at Puddle Duck winery Richmond cooked by Matt. Cheese tastings then dinner cooked by Matt. 

Staying at Swansea Beach Chalets.

Day 6; Tuesday 9th

Oyster tour and seafood lunch, Freycinet walk, light plane flight over Wine Glass Bay, visit to Devils Corner, dinner cooked by Matt. 

Staying at Swansea Beach Chalets.

Day 7; Wednesday 10th 

Wine day….visiting some of the best vineyards in Freycinet region follow by YES another oyster farm visit Melshells oysters. 

Staying at Swansea Beach Chalets.

Day 8; Thursday 11th 

Head to Launceston with a stop at Campbelltown, Tasmanian sauce company, followed by a long Vineyard lunch at Pipers brook Winery in the Tamar Valley. 

Staying at Rosevears Hotel. 

Day 9; Friday 12th

Last day, we finish with tasting of Tasmanian Gourmet meats at one of the most prestiges Butcheries in Tasmania “Cassalinga” followed by a James Boags Brewery tour and that is the end of our tour approximately 4pm
