Join acclaimed chef and restaurateurs Matt Dillow for an unforgettable seven-night culinary adventure through the heart of Catalonia. Stay at the beautiful Villa Cal Mingo in the scenic hills of the Penedès wine region and indulge in the best of Spanish cuisine, culture, and wine.
Tour Highlights:
Day 1: Meeting point; 3pm Sitges train station and check-in at the villa, followed by welcome drinks and a delicious dinner cooked over the coals.
Day 2: Sparkling Day; Explore Llopart and Codorniu Wineries and lunch at Codorniu. End the day with a Valencian Paella at the villa
Day 3: Seafood cooking and Boat Day; Seafood cooking class during the day and enjoying our creations for lunch. In the evening we enjoy a boat trip along the Catalonia coastline and a light dinner.
Day 4: Montserrat Day; Discover the stunning Monasterio de Montserrat and enjoy a walk to one of the most famous lookouts, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Return to the villa for a classic Spanish roast pork and sunset drinks.
Day 5: Discover Sitges Day; Walk through the town, lunch at one of the best Tapas bars in Sitges, home for the afternoon by the pool. Head back into Sitges for a wine and cheese tasting, followed by Gelato and a walk through Sitges experiencing a bit of the nightlife.
Day 6: Penedès Wine Day; Visit to the legendary Jean Leon Winery and Freixenet Winery for a tour and lunch. Return to the villa for a traditional seafood paella dinner.
Day 7: Relax Day; Visit local Roman ruins the spend a leisurely day at the villa, enjoy a sunset drinks then conclude the evening with a beautiful dinner at a waterfront restaurant in Sitges.
Day 8: Farewell Day;Breakfast and departure. Transportation to your local hotel in Sitges or the train station is provided.
